Happy Lollicaker!

It has been months since my last blog and I apologize for that. My schedule has been super crazy! For one we have been real busy at the factory baking not only lollicakes but cupcakes and specialty cakes as well! If you remember from my last post I was in California for my cousins wedding and if you follow the lollicake factory on facebook or me on twitter you know I took another trip there about 2 months ago to watch NKOTBSB in concert(Yes I'm a fan!) :-). During that trip I also did a whole lot of cupcakery hopping and cupcake tasting to get some ideas for our store front at the same time baked some lollies for our lollicakers in the bay area. The cupcake tasting was awesome, I even had some cupcakes shipped straight fr. Georgetown Cupcake of the DC Cupcakes show! I'll post some photos so I can share my experience with you guys. When I got back I decided to complete the Master Course in Cake decorating with Chef Heny Sison, it's always nice taking a class with her because I learn so much. Our end project was to make a 3 tier wedding cake and because i couldn't have a pink wedding I decided to make my project a pink wedding cake!So yes, I now accept wedding cake orders...never thought I'd make wedding cakes but hey I'm having alot of fun!
I am very excited to announce that we will be opening The Lollicake Factory store front on September 12! Please follow us on facebook and twitter(daredevilchic) to get updates on the time and special promos. Our New store will be located at 56-D East Capitol Drive Kapitolyo, Pasig. We will have lollicakes available daily as well as other mini desserts, exciting cupcake flavors and even a brunch menu cooked by yours truly!
When I started The Lollicake Factory part of my prayer was to eventually have a small cozy breakfast/dessert cafe in our area similar to the one me and Jimmy go to in California. I'm so thankful for how soon he answered my prayers, everything that led to finally putting up this store went so smooth I have no doubt that God planned all this. Now I understand why there was a time in my life where I felt work was really slow. I have to admit I'd get frustrated asking what it was he really wanted me to do. I remember praying to him saying you must have something big cooking because I sure have a lot of time on my hands.I know he purposely planned it that way because that was right after our wedding and it gave Jimmy and I a lot of time to spend together. Instead of continuing to get frustrated, I decided to use my time wisely, I bonded with my husband and enhanced my baking and cooking skills while he was at practice. Little did I know that he was leading me to a new career! The Lord has been so good to us this  season and I just can't say thank you enough for how everything has been going. If there's some of you out there going through the same thing I went through, not knowing what it is he has planned. I encourage you to stay patient and keep the faith! I guarantee he has something great planned for you! Just put Him first and everything will fall into place.
